Who are we ?

Southport Bacon Company was founded in 1975 by Ted Hodge. He saw a need for a supplier of quality bacon and related products. The company originally operated from a small retail location in Birkdale Southport.

Offering quality combined with keen pricing and exceptional service, the company soon outgrew it's original location. It moved in 1977 to a small commercial estate, also in Birkdale.

The companies rapid growth was limited by the size of it's premises. So, in 1982, it moved to a brand new building in central Southport Lancashire.
